Catherine Rea Christy, age 60 of Stockbridge passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005. Mrs. Christy, a loving wife and mother, is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Yvonne Sanford; son, Michael Lavenden; grandchildren, Jessie Rosser and Jimmy Gariety, Jr. and brother, Ted Rea.

Funeral services will be held at Ward's Fairview Chapel Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 at 1 p.m., with Pastor Larry Llewelyn officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday prior to the service.
