Injuries from dog attacks may be a rarity in Henry County, but they do occur. For one dog owner, keeping his two dogs may require him to obtain $200,000 worth of insurance, following an attack on a 10-year-old boy.

In the wake of area residents being bitten, Henry County is stepping up enforcement of local laws regarding canines classified as dangerous, or potentially dangerous. The Board of Commissioners, on Tuesday, heard details on two dog attacks, and an appeal by the owners of their dogs being classified as "dangerous," or "potentially dangerous."
