STOCKBRIDGE — The J.P. Moseley Recreation Center this past Saturday afternoon whizzed with energetic and talented youngsters and with equally animated and capable adults who demonstrated this year’s dedicated theme for the annual Community Day event: Awareness.

“The purpose is to create awareness in the community and let them know all of what we have to offer,” said Jerry Belcastro, facility manager at J.P. Moseley. He added that this was not a fundraising event but simply a day for both parents and kids to play and learn together.
