Motorists can expect moderate to severe travel delays on Interstate 75 southbound this weekend, between Ga. Highway 138 and Hudson Bridge Road in Stockbridge, the Georgia Department of Transportation said.

Crews will close the left lane of I-75 beginning today at 9 p.m., in order to allow workers to install a new left travel lane. The work will require the removal of the existing shoulder, and the placement of new asphalt.
