Edythe Kirbo Jackson, age 86 of 902 Mosley Street, Vidalia died Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at her residence after an extended illness.

She was a native of Mitchell County, moving to Vidalia in 1954, was a retired music teacher with the Vidalia City Schools and Toombs Central School, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vidalia and the Steadfast Sunday School Class. She was involved in civic and community activities including Franklinia Playhouse, and after her retirement continued to teach piano lessons in her home.
