Publix sales associates, Priscilla Tennant and Kamala Gourdine, helped cart in the pallet of donated school supplies, gladly received by Marshall Chambers, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's head of school.

The supplies represent the McDonough private school's efforts to positively affect young lives not often highlighted, and more than an ocean away in Africa. ELCA officials said they plan to ship the school supplies overseas to the Capital City of Niamey, Niger. The supplies will support needy, young students at Boni Fandu Christian School, in Niamey.
