Noodling is poised to be legal in Georgia. But it isn't yet. The noodling bill is sitting on the governor's desk. He hasn't signed it. A press spokesperson says he has 40 days or until May 10 to sign or veto the noodling bill, HB301, that swam successfully through the legislature and passed March 29.

Before you city folks go out and start doing things that would spike the population figures you better hold on a second. Noodling doesn't have anything to do with that. It is the process of reaching into the water, grabbing a live catfish and pulling it out of the water.
