McDONOUGH— The filming of a rap video inside the Henry County Superior Courthouse last month has prompted county officials to consider a filming policy.

Rapper Yo Gotti filmed his music video for the song titled “Law,” in the Blacksville area of McDonough and the courthouse mid-March. Several Henry County residents have expressed outrage that the filming was allowed to take place on county property since the song is filled with profanity and does not “portray the county in a positive light,” some have said on social media. The video, however, doesn’t display “Henry County” or “McDonough” text in the video to identify where it was filmed.
