Saturday Night Live survivor Al Franken has fully donned his liberal superhero outfit and no one is safe. The sneering humorist aided security at a New Hampshire rally Monday by putting down a Howard Dean heckler with a body slam. Franken recalled his heroics by describing how he "got down low and took (the heckler's) legs out."

Franken, who recently inked a talk radio contract with Progress Media to host an afternoon show opposite Rush Limbaugh, said he wasn't a Dean supporter, but defended his right to speak freely without interruption. His Harry Potter style signature spectacles were broken in the skirmish.
