A Morrow clinic, which provides primary medical care to needy and uninsured local residents, is inviting people to strap on their walking shoes to help raise money for the facility.

The Good Shepherd Clinic, known for its annual Tomato Sandwich Party fund-raiser, will host another of its annual fund-raisers -- its 5-kilometer health walk -- later this month. As has been the case over the past two years, this year's event is scheduled to be held close to Halloween. It will be held Oct. 29, from 7:30 a.m., to 10:30 a.m., at Clayton County International Park, located at 2300 Ga. Hwy. 138, in Jonesboro.
