Rock Spring Elementary Student Dies After Getting Hit By Car

MCDONOUGH — An 8-year-old girl who was struck by a car Thursday while boarding a school bus died from her injuries Sunday. The Georgia State Patrol identified the victim as Adalynn Pierce, a student at Rock Spring Elementary School.

The GSP also announced Saturday that the driver of the car, Kaylee Andre, 25, was arrested on charges of first degree homicide by vehicle, failure to stop for a school bus loading and unloading, and failure to exercise due care.
