McDONOUGH — It’s time to start planning your Halloween costumes.

Though many holiday-related activities have been canceled this year, Henry County’s Night Out 2020 is on.

On Oct. 22 from 5:30-8 p.m., the community is invited to take part in fall festivities with local law enforcement and public safety agencies. The evening will include a costume contest and trunk or treating. There will also be food and drinks, live music and children’s activities, as well as an opportunity to get to know public safety and community leaders.

The event will be held at Henry Towne Center, 1850 Jonesboro Road in McDonough.

But don’t put away those costumes yet.

On Oct. 30 from 5:30-7:30 p.m., the Henry County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a night of trunk or treating at Heritage Park, 95 Lake Dow Road in McDonough.
