Hampton citizens address ‘elephant in the room:’ Unannounced city manager resignation

HAMPTON— Tuesday’s Hampton City Council meeting was a bit rowdier than normal as citizens spoke about the recent unannounced resignation of the city manager.

Easma Oliver, during public comments, said she wanted to address the “elephant in the room,” referring to the resignation that had not yet been announced by the city.
