Hampton Police Officer Hit While Directing Traffic

HAMPTON — The Hampton Police Department announced Tuesday morning that an officer was hit by a vehicle while directing traffic Monday.

The officer was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, the HPD said, and is in critical but stable condition.
