McDONOUGH – The Henry County Fire Department has received an ISO rating of 2, and is looking to improve it to 1 within three years.

The rating is issued by the Insurance Services Office and determines the effectiveness of a fire department. Fire departments are graded on a scale from 1-10, with a score of 1 being the best possible rating, while a 10 means the fire department did not meet minimum requirements established by ISO.
