MCDONOUGH — At its Aug. 14 meeting, the Henry County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to submit a draft of its Comprehensive Plan 2040 Update and Future Land Use Map to the Atlanta Regional Commission and Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

The comprehensive plan addresses five major needs and opportunities in Henry County.
