Henry County police find more than 1 pound of heroin during traffic stop on I-75

McDONOUGH — A driver allegedly speeding in the construction zone along Interstate 75 is facing more than a steep fine when a Henry County Police Department officer found a large amount of heroin in his car.

According to the police report, Officer N. Jackson saw a 2008 Nissan Altima traveling at a high rate of speed along I-75 southbound near Locust Grove around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
