McDONOUGH — Henry County Schools’ Human Resource Services Department was recently awarded a Golden Award of Excellence for marketing materials during the Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators’ summer conference.
The department earned the “Best in Class” designation in the category of Recruitment/Process Materials for its brochure aimed at recruiting local secondary students to the teaching ranks. It is the second such award for the department after earning recognition in the same category at last year’s conference for its resourceful thumb drive handout for prospective teachers at job fairs.
