Henry County Commissioners Honor Brothers For Community Service

During a regular meeting Wednesday, the Henry County Board of Commissioners presented brothers Treandos and Noah Thornton, of McDonough, with Certificates of Recognition for their community service work in the county. The Thornton brothers, ages 12 and 9 respectively, have led food drives, toy drives and book drives over the past seven years in Henry County. “When we have young people that are doing the things that these young men are doing in the community, it is important to celebrate it. This is what we need to have in our community,” said Commissioner Kevin J. Lewis.
