McDONOUGH — A Sirens of Courage truck visit with the McDonough Fire Department captured a special moment between the fire crew and Locust Grove High School students.

The month of April is significant to those who rally behind efforts to raise awareness and promote autism acceptance within their community. As the Autism Acceptance month began teachers, staff and administrators at Locust Grove High School — located at 3275 South Ola Road in Locust Grove — launched a campaign to celebrate neurodiversity and individual differences with hopes to advance inclusivity and connectedness within the student body.
