STOCKBRIDGE — Residents of Stockbridge should take notice of a few road construction projects set to take place along two major roads in the city.

The Stockbridge City Council approved $2.2 million of TSPLOST funds to repave damage cause by heavy traffic along Walt Stephens Road and Mt. Zion Parkway. The project, which is expected to begin by end of the year, will repair the road from the Clayton County line to Ga. Highway 138.
