STOCKBRIDGE — Residents of Stockbridge should expect to see an increase in sanitation and stormwater fees in the new budget year.

The Stockbridge City Council voted to increase the sanitation fee from $17.34 per month to $22 per month for fiscal year 2024 during its meeting Tuesday, May 30. The 3-0-1 vote, in which Mayor Pro Tem Yolanda Barber abstained, will be billed annually in the amount of $264 on the Henry County tax statement, Decius Aaron with Public Works said.
