After years of hit-or-miss with the weather, while holding an outdoor barbecue fund-raiser, the local historical society has announced it is taking the event indoors this year.
Historical Jonesboro/Clayton County, Inc., President Barbara Emert said the event will be held on Saturday, from 5 p.m., to 8 p.m., at the Jonesboro Firehouse Museum Community Center, at 103 West Mill St., in Jonesboro.
