McDONOUGH — Henry County voters re-elected incumbents in several public safety races, choosing stability over shake-up in the county contests for sheriff, coroner and clerk of Superior Court.

Republican Keith McBrayer will continue to serve Henry County as its sheriff, winning 54.90 percent of the vote, or 51,095 votes, as of 11 p.m. Tuesday with all precincts reporting. Democrat challenger Joe Mack Eckler, a sergeant with the Clayton County Police Department, received 45.02 percent of the vote.
