Dr. Jean Renoir Eugene, age 40 of McDonough passed away Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Henry Medical Center. Dr. Eugene was born October 20, 1964 in Haiti to the late Gabriel Jasmin. He graduated from Southeastern University, Miami and was a vascular surgeon with ENT and Surgical Associates of South Atlanta. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he was a member of the choir. Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Marantha Eugene; son, Stanley Eugene; daughter Stephanie Eugene all of McDonough; mother and step father, Priscilla Eugene and Benoit Chevalier; grandmother, Mercie Eugene; uncles and aunts, Arnold Eugene, Lislet Eugene, Edny Chavannes, Benett Doreus, Rev. Amos Eugene, Dr. Jean-Baptiste Jasmin, Hermione Belhomme and Simone Issac and families; in-laws, Rev. Fortune Joseph and family; brother-in-law, Caleb Joseph and family; many other relatives, in-laws, classmates, colleagues, co-workers, medical students, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 10 a.m. from Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Friday evening from 6-8 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
