From now, through Saturday, Dec. 24, Atlanta-area Kroger customers can purchase $1, $3 or $5 icons to help can hunger, by providing food for area families in need. All donations collected at Atlanta-area Kroger grocery stores will benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

The Can Hunger campaign provides Kroger associates and customers with the opportunity to give back to their community during the holiday season, said Glynn Jenkins, director of communications and public relations for Krogers Atlanta Division. Small monetary donations can make a large impact in feeding those who are less fortunate within the community.
