ATLANTA — Clayton County Police Department carried the Flame of Hope through the county in honor of the 2015 Special Olympics.

The Flame is on its way to Los Angeles for the 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games which start July 25. On Thursday, dozens of Clayton County police and community members gathered for the 8.9-mile run with the flame during the county’s annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.
