LOCUST GROVE — Luella High Navy JROTC Drill Platoon is winner of the first Georgia Statewide All Service JROTC Drill Meet hosted by Georgia Military College.
“It’s great to win, especially to be the first one,” said Gunnery Sgt. Jimmie Lewis Jr., noting Saturday’s win was also the platoon’s first top finish of the season. “We’ve done four other competitions, and we took third place every single time.”
