During the McDonough City Council’s March 4 meeting, Mayor Billy Copeland said he will continue to hold in-person meetings while reminding council members of their ability to participate via teleconference if they wish to do so.

McDONOUGH — Mayor Billy Copeland addressed critics during last week’s City Council meeting concerning his decision to hold in-person meetings.

He said during the last few months he has been “consistently challenged and questioned” about holding meetings in council chambers at City Hall during the pandemic.
