STOCKBRIDGE — The Stockbridge Ethics Board is expected to hear a complaint next week from a resident alleging misuse of city funds and a conflict of interest violation against Councilman Elton Alexander.
The complaint, filed Sept. 9 by resident Renee Matis, states that the city council violated Section 2.40.40 of the city’s Code of Ethics, which states, “A city official shall not order any goods or services for the city without prior authorization for such an expenditure. No city official shall attempt to obligate the city nor give the impression of obligating the city without proper prior authorization.”
