Banjo wandered around the neighborhood near McDonough Presbyterian Church for several days before being brought to the Henry County Animal Shelter by some folks who worried about his being safe while on the lam. He is gentle and makes friends very quickly. Banjo is a big boy who weighs about 60 pounds and appears to be a yellow Lab-shepherd mix. He's sure to be a loyal companion. To see Banjo, ask about 040408/1034 (G10) at the Henry County Animal Control Shelter at 527 Hampton Street (Ga. Highway 20/81), McDonough. The shelter is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Call (770) 288-7387 (PETS).
