The kitten room at the Henry County Animal Care and Control Shelter is full. Beautiful tabbies, calicoes, tuxedos, yellows and more are just waiting to be adopted and have their forever homes. If you have considered taking a kitten in, please check the shelter first. The Henry County Animal Care and Control Shelter is at 527 Hampton St. in McDonough. The shelter is open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday. Call 770-288-7387, or visit the website at petfinder.com. Sad tails: A number of dogs had to be put to sleep due to a lack of space. These included Rommel, Santana and Tuesday, who have been recently featured as Pets of the Week. (Special Photo)
