Henry County Police have identified the alleged perpetrator, who was killed during a violent, New Year's Eve, attempted armed robbery at a local residence. Officers reportedly know the names of two other suspects, who remain at-large, but did not release them.

On Wednesday, police said Willie Hall, 29, of Decatur –– the now-deceased suspect –– along with two other perpetrators, forced their way into a Stockbridge home shortly before 9 p.m., Friday. Hall was shot and killed a responding officer, during the attempted robbery at 305 Cane Creek Drive, according to police.
