17-Year-Old Charged in Sprayberry Stabbing

A 17-year-old student at Sprayberry High School is in custody and an 18-year-old student is in critical condition after a stabbing at the school Wednesday, according to Cobb Police.

Aedan Connor Smith of Marietta is charged with aggravated assault and carrying a weapon in a school safety zone for allegedly stabbing fellow student Earl Nichols, also of Marietta, said Sgt. Eric Smith, Cobb Police spokesperson.
