LUELLA — In the past five years, Luella High School has taken pride in seeing 14 of its football players graduate to a college program. Three of them are members of the 2015 signing class, which signed scholarship offers on Wednesday.

A three-star recruit according to ESPN.com, Darren Drake committed to the UNC-Charlotte 49ers on National Signing Day. He was chosen for three all-region teams as offensive lineman, culminating in a 2014 region 4-AAAAA first-team offense selection.
