Record enrollment has earned the Technical College System of Georgia, and its two-year institutions, recognition among the nation's fastest-growing, public, two-year colleges, according to a study conducted Community College Week Magazine.

The Fairfax, Va., publication reported in its Nov. 29 issue, that the student bodies of 15 public, two-year colleges in Georgia were ranked among the fastest-growing in the country. The magazine cited data from the U.S. Department of Education analysis of enrollment increases, between fall 2008, and fall 2009, at 1,058 public two-year colleges. It also broke the rankings down into four categories, based on institutional size.
