STOCKBRIDGE An elderly man died in an early morning blaze Saturday, said Henry County fire officials.

The unidentified man, 77, was unable to escape the fire on Clemons Road and died at the scene, said fire Capt. Sabrina Puckett. An autopsy showed the cause of death appears to be smoke inhalation, she said.
