Suspects sought in Stockbridge Craigslist armed robbery

STOCKBRIDGE — A Craigslist meet up turned violent Wednesday when a man attempting to purchase a car was reportedly attacked and robbed at gunpoint by the car’s purported seller.

Henry County Police and medic crews were called to the 400 block of Oakwood Manor Drive in Stockbridge around 4:20 p.m. Nov. 9 in response to the reported armed robbery. The victim claimed that while one armed man robbed him of the cash he intended for the car’s purchase, another man held him to the ground and fired a stun gun into his head, according to a report filed by the police department.
