HAMPTON — Award-winning teen author Stone Erickson spoke to students at the Arts and Letters Youth Writing and Publishing Workshop for inspiring writers at Dutchtown Middle School Saturday.

Erickson was recently awarded Science Fiction Author of the Year at the African-American Literary Award Show where he won a category that included adult authors. Henry County’s Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. invited Erickson to participate in the panel of publishers and writers to discuss his first novel “Black Angel” and writing process to the kids.
