Two Candidates Disqualified From Primary Election

MCDONOUGH — According to a notice from the Henry County Elections and Registration Office, two candidates have been disqualified from the May 21 primary election — Loletha Hale, who is running for State Court judge, and Karen Prince, who is running for Henry County District 2 commissioner.

The Elections Office said since ballots have already been printed, the names of the disqualified candidates will still appear on the ballots. However, all votes cast for the two candidates will be void and not counted.
