The University of Georgia at Griffin is planning its annual spring open house event for March 29. The event, to be held from 4 p.m., to 7 p.m., is expected to offer prospective students the opportunity to learn more about available degree programs at the Southern Crescent institution, which attracts students from Henry County.

About 15 percent of UGA Griffins students come from Henry and Fayette counties. UGA Griffin has approximately 150 students currently enrolled, said Ada Hatzios, a spokeswoman on behalf of UGA Griffin.
