A Stockbridge man, suspected of killing his stepfather in a house fire six months ago, has pleaded not guilty in the case. James Mickey Walden, 45, entered the plea on Tuesday.

He is charged with malice murder, felony murder, two counts of arson in the first degree, aggravated assault on a peace officer and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was indicted June 3, and was arraigned in Superior Court Tuesday. Walden was being held without bond in the Henry County Jail.
