Woman alleges man asking for directions stole her wallet

McDONOUGH — A woman told police she was approached by a man asking for directions in the parking lot of a local store when her wallet was stolen from her vehicle Tuesday evening.

The victim was apparently loading items into her vehicle just before 5:30 p.m. at Sam’s Club on Jonesboro Road when a man believed to be in his mid-20s approached her and asked for directions to a Bank of America, according to the Henry County Police Department. The suspect was described as an Indian male, 5 foot, 8 inches tall and wearing blue jeans and dark glasses.
