McDONOUGH— The Henry County Planning and Zoning board voted to approve an application to rezone more than 158 acres off Jodeco Road for the proposed Jodeco Atlanta South development.

Though the property — located in the southwest corner of Jodeco Road and Interstate 75— has not been annexed from the county into the city limits of Stockbridge, the zoning board recommended approval of the applicant’s request to rezone the property from Residential Agricultural to the city of Stockbridge’s Planned Town Development. PTD is similar to the county’s mixed use zoning, said County Planner Stacey Jordan.
