Nurse Honor Guard to hold Ceremony May 21

The Nurse Honor Guard of Greater Walton County will honor Florence Nightingale and other fallen nurses with a candlelight service in Monroe May 21.

The Nurse Honor Guard, which includes members from Rockdale and Newton counties, will hold the ceremony at 8:30 p.m. on the front steps and lawn of the Walton County Historic Courthouse. Candles will be distributed beginning at 8 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 8:30 p.m.
