Some problems are easier to fix than others

When you call a plumber for a repair he can check along the pipes, explain about the blockage or show you the leak and then repair it. If you have a problem with the Internet or your computer, it’s more complicated. Most of the time the computer tech can do amazing things on the computer then it works again. Most of what he did was invisible. That’s the way it is. Some repairs are visible, even obvious, but many repairs these days are invisible.

In my job as a school technician, I worked to repair intercoms, public address systems and other electronics equipment. My partner, John, and I traveled throughout the Atlanta area to solve a variety of problems. Our first stop was always the school office.
