STOCKBRIDGE — The Stockbridge Tigers boys basketball team has gotten off to an 8-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark in Region 4-5A so far this season. Much of that success stems from the play of 6-foot-6 junior Kavonte Ivery.

Depite the losses of Virgil Fields and JaDon Davis, Stockbridge’s two leading scorers from last season, Ivery has given head coach Rodney Latham a different dimension on the floor. He is averaging 23 points and 12 rebounds per game.
