CLAYTON STATE: Maia Kuhnen Makes History as first Clayton State student-athlete in NCAA Woman of the Year Top 30

MORROW — Maia Kuhnen has accomplished something no other individual in Clayton State program history has. She has been named one of 30 national finalists for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award, and one of 10 from Division II, as announced by the NCAA last week.

Kuhnen is the first Clayton State student-athlete to advance to the top 30 and is the only international student-athlete among those 30 nominees. She has advanced from a record 517 individuals that were nominated across all three NCAA Divisions and is one of the 10 finalists from Division II.
