VALDOSTA — Valdosta High turned a potential nail-biter into a route for the second straight week, transforming a one-point lead early in the second quarter against Woodland-Stockbridge into a 51-12 victory Friday at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium.

The Wolfpack came into the game ranked No. 10 in Class 5A and looking for an upset in their first meeting with the ‘Cats, and they landed the first shot of the night when Division I prospect Shakur Brown returned a punt 80 yards for a score after forcing a Valdosta three-and-out on its opening drive.
