M.L. King denies Luella dream finish

LITHONIA It might have been Luellas final regular-season road game, but this was the wrong place for the Lions to try to improve their place in the Region 2-AAAAA boys basketball pecking order. Here, M.L. King made a convincing case Friday that the Lions are right where they belong.

The fifth-place team that believed it could ascend to second will have to set its sights a little lower, after M.L. King romped to a 69-53 victory behind Tivius Guthries 23 points.
